VIOFO A119 V3 w/ GPS QHD+ Dash Cam

The VIOFO A119 V3 records a taller QHD+ front view at 2560 × 1600 and 30FPS. Its 2-inch screen and physical buttons suit drivers who prefer setup and playback on the camera. The GPS mount is included; a memory card and CPL filter are sold separately.

The 5MP Sony STARVIS IMX335 sensor uses an F1.6 lens with a 140° view. HDR is available with supported firmware. Aim the camera from its screen and check original clips after installation; lighting, distance, speed and glare affect visible detail.

Included GPS for recorded journeys

The GPS mount records speed, location and time when it receives a satellite signal. Review this information with compatible playback software. GPS does not transmit your vehicle’s live location, and this camera has no Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or voice controls.

Screen controls without a phone

Use the display and buttons for setup, playback and clip locking. Leave space to reach the card slot and slide the camera off its mount. A rear camera cannot be added to this front-only model. Save important files before formatting or changing cards.

Parking power through Mini-USB

The optional HK3 Mini-USB hardwire kit supplies power and an ignition signal for buffered event, time-lapse or low-bitrate parking recording. USB-C HK4/HK6 kits are not substitutes for its Mini-USB connection. Configure the kit’s cutoff and camera settings for the vehicle; the supercapacitor is not a parking battery. What sensor and resolution does the A119 V3 use?

It uses a 5MP Sony STARVIS IMX335 sensor and records 2560 × 1600 at 30FPS. It is not the STARVIS 2 IMX675 model; that sensor belongs to A119 MINI 2. HDR is available with supported firmware.

Is the GPS mount included?

Yes. This BlackboxMyCar package includes the GPS mount. It records speed, location and time information when satellite reception is available. GPS is a recording feature, not a remote vehicle tracker.

Does the A119 V3 have Wi-Fi or an app connection?

No. It has no Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or voice control. Use the 2-inch screen or transfer the microSD card’s recordings to a computer. Choose A119 MINI 2 or A119M Pro if local wireless access matters.

What do I need for parking recording?

The optional VIOFO HK3 Mini-USB hardwire kit supplies constant power and an ignition signal. Select the Mini-USB HK3, not the USB-C HK4 or HK6. A dedicated dash cam battery also needs the correct camera connection and parking signal.

What does buffered parking recording save?

In Auto Event Detection, VIOFO specifies a 15-second buffer and a 45-second event clip, covering the period before and after detection. Time-lapse and low-bitrate are separate parking choices. Available recording time depends on power and settings.

Can I add a rear camera?

No. A119 V3 is a front-only, single-channel camera. A rear camera cannot be added to this unit; select a supported two-channel system for front and rear recording.

Which memory card and CPL filter fit?

Use a compatible high-endurance microSD card up to 256GB. The optional CPL-100 filter reduces windshield reflections. Both are separate purchases unless your selected bundle explicitly includes them.

Can I use the suction-cup mount and GPS mount together?

No. The optional A119 V3 suction-cup mount cannot be used together with the GPS mount. Use the supplied GPS mount when you want GPS data in recordings.
