Is this a front-and-rear kit?
No. The second camera is a 4K infrared interior camera. The Cabin system cannot use the standard Elite 10 rear camera. If you want rear-road footage, compare the regular Elite 10 2CH or Elite 9 2CH.
What is included for storage and power?
A 64GB microSD card, hardwire cable and USB-C 12V adapter are included. Storage supports up to 1TB. Follow BlackVue’s card guidance and check the exact card’s compatibility before upgrading.
Do I need an LTE subscription to use the cameras?
No. Local recording and nearby app access do not require an LTE subscription. Remote Cloud access needs internet. The optional CM100G module requires a compatible SIM and data plan, and some Cloud features depend on the service plan.
Does Power Saving capture footage before an impact?
No. Power Saving waits in low-current standby and wakes after an impact. Use Motion & Impact Detection for the 10-second pre-event buffer. Time Lapse provides a condensed parking record at 1FPS without audio.
How can I power parking mode?
Install the included hardwire cable and set the camera’s low-voltage cutoff and parking timer, or use a compatible battery pack such as the B-130A. The B-130A’s supplied direct output cable supports BlackVue Elite cameras. USB-C PD3.0 and the supplied 12V adapter do not support Parking Mode. Direct vehicle USB-C power needs a PD3.0 port for driving recording.
Can I turn off cabin audio?
Yes. Audio recording can be disabled in the app or camera settings. Check both camera views before securing the mounts; the wide interior lens can still be blocked by seats or passengers.
Does the cabin camera record HDR?
HDR applies to the front camera. The cabin camera uses infrared LEDs and an automatic IR-cut filter for interior recording.
Are important files protected permanently?
No. Event-file protection can reserve up to 50 event recordings, but formatting can erase them. Loop recording overwrites older unprotected clips when the card fills. Download important clips promptly and follow the manual’s card-care guidance.
