The camera is great. I would prefer a different mounting option.
I have not been able to make the hybrid parking mode work. it keeps asking me to setup the battery protection. I have set it up like fifteen different times, still no luck.

Just installed this in my car. Easy to install and hid the wires. The best part is that you can just plug the wire in to the usb c jack and not use the cigarette light plug. Great picture image and small unit that doesn’t stand out

Really nice dashcam. Lots of features and simple to use. The instructions are easy to follow and installation was a breeze. Video quality is excellent. My biggest complaint is that it uses sticky tape instead of a solid or suction mount. In hot climates this may not stick.

Just to note, the adhesive mount is actually designed to hold up better than suction mounts, especially in heat, since it provides a more secure and consistent bond over time.
I love the A329T. It's video recording quality is better than my older A229 Pro and it doesn't get as hot. I'm amazed how well the front telephoto zoom cam picks up license plates.Viofo hit a home run with the new A329T series

I’ve come to the Viofo A329S after using numerous BlackVue cameras over the past 12 years. While the A329S performs well under the hood, the build quality feels a bit "cheap" to the touch when compared to the premium, robust feel I’ve grown accustomed to with BlackVue.
I have had the system installed for three days, and I’ve encountered a few frustrating hurdles:
GPS Connectivity Issues: Despite the GPS settings being active and the camera properly docked to the GPS window mount, playback on the Viofo PC software fails to show movement. My speed remains at zero and the location stays static at the coordinates where I first installed the system.
Software Limitations: Coming from the BlackVue ecosystem, I am used to a seamless continuous playback of all files. The Viofo software, by contrast, seems to only allow a limited number of files to load at once, making it difficult to review long trips.
App Intuition: Today, while using the Android app, I found the file organization confusing. While I could locate footage from earlier in the day, I was completely unable to find the clips from the minutes immediately preceding my connection to the camera.
Since I am new to the Viofo system, some of these issues may be due to my own learning curve. I’m hoping that with more time, the interface will become more intuitive and these technical glitches will be resolved.

VIOFO positions the A329S in the 'affordable premium' segment, so some compromises in exterior materials are made to keep pricing relatively low, as the price to performance ratio is the major focus.
Regarding the GPS behavior, this is most often resolved with a firmware update. You can update directly through the newer VIOFO Dashcam app, which has replaced the older VIOFO app and offers a more streamlined experience. If you are still using the older app, we recommend switching to the updated one. Firmware can also be installed manually via the SD card if needed.
As for file browsing and playback, the new app significantly improves navigation and overall usability compared to previous versions. There can definitely be a learning curve when switching ecosystems, but many users find the experience more intuitive on the new app.
If the GPS issue persists after updating, or if anything feels off, please reach out to our team. We are always happy to assist with technical troubleshooting or warranty support to make sure your system is working as it should.

Replaced a BlackVue DR900S-2CH. Easy enough to install, I could reuse the rear camera cable from the BlackVue.
I did end up disabling HDR to use 60fps on the main camera. Didn't see much difference with HDR during the day.

I have installed a 129, 2x 229s and now a A329. They all basically install exactly the same but you can see that things have ivastly mproved over time. Even the feature set is now light years ahead, not to mention the video quality. I particularly like the new parking modes to extend recording time, as it is getting smarter and smarter. I can't wait for an A429 4 channel with 2 front fender sideview cameras. I am a bit puzzeled as to why no one does this, yet, except Tesla, from the factory. Stick with Viofo as I have experience with Blackview and some brand Xs and just don't go there.

Amazing video quality. Easy enough set up. One of the problems I had with the old Garmin dashcam was connecting to the app. It was a constant challenge. No such issues at all with the Viofo app. Was a quick and efficent stable connection. A shout out to Blackbox for their delivery updates. Came right on schedule.
