VIOFO USB-C Hardwire Kit

The VIOFO Type-C HK4 Hardwiring Kit is compatible with the following VIOFO models: T130, A139 Pro, A329, A229, A229 Plus, A229 Pro, WM1, and A119 Mini 2.

This hardwiring kit is not compatible with the following VIOFO dash cam models: A119 V3, A129 Duo, A129 Duo IR, A129 Pro Duo, A129 Plus Duo.

For the VIOFO VS1 Mini, this cable is compatible, however the fitment is not precise, and pieces of the metal plug will show.

NOTE: Fuse Taps are not included by default. If you would like them, select the "2 of each" option. The types of add a fuse that we provide, if selected, are: Low profile, Mini, Micro 2, and ATO. If you are not sure which fuse type you need, we recommend getting the "2 of Each" option.

 

Product Details

This Type-C HK4 Hardwiring Kit supports ACC detection, the dash cam will switch to parking mode automatically if the vehicle engine is shut off. The dash cam will switch into normal recording when the vehicle engine is on.

With adjustable voltage low voltage protection function, it will cut power to your dash camera when detect the vehicle battery voltage is below the set number. It has four voltage options 11.8V, 12V, 12,2V, 12.4V.

The Type-C HK4 hardwiring kit is 12/24V compatible.

How to Hardwire

Hardwiring involves wiring directly to the fusebox of your vehicle, connecting all 3 cables to the corresponding types.

Fuse Box Connections:

  • Black: Ground
  • Red: Battery, or constant power
  • Yellow: ACC, or switched power
