Both front and rear cameras feature Full HD Sony STARVIS image sensors for best image quality under any light. The front camera records extra fluid videos at 60 frames per second, keeping all details sharp even in fast action. With 60fps, motion blur is much reduced compared to 30fps. That means your BlackVue can better capture details–like license plates–even in fast-moving objects.

Infrared Interior Camera

The Infrared Camera secures the interior of your vehicle. The inconspicuous infrared LEDs automatically activate based on the ambient light. The camera’s spectacular clarity even in pitch black lighting conditions will procure peace of mind to taxi and
rideshare drivers.

Using the BlackVue App or Viewer, you can further customize the way it operates.

  • 180° Image Rotation to accommodate your setup: if the image comes out upside down, just activate this
    feature and it will fix the image orientation.
  • Security LED ON/OFF (for enhanced discreetness in Parking Mode)

Upgraded from DR750 (single cam) to DR750X-2CH

I needed to order a replacement cam fast for a cross country move that was happening in a week and a half *(I damaged my cam...long separate story), and decided to go with the dual cam option. The team at Blackboxmycar is awesome and answered promptly any questions I had, *(including discussing options for my upcoming repair). The cam showed up within 3 business days through fedex and customs within the US. Had signature required for the package as well! While The BBMC team was awesome, I will say it, seems that the camera itself is a little slow to boot up (maybe due to having both cameras??) and I do wish that the speaker was louder or able to play or announce its status through the car radio or text message. Especially when trying to select the side event option, it is difficult to hear what is being said. But, still a great camera (small enough to be out of the way)... the old camera photo is on the freeway, and new cam in the mountains... nice big photos showing everything. My only wish *again not the fault of BBMC team... would be a better UI/UX option for connecting to the phone, including a bluetooth option for setting up the cam, and a better process for linking dash cam to phone hotspot for uploading events.
