Is this a good choice for a dash cam?
For continuous dash-cam recording, choose a high-endurance card approved for your camera. Ultra is a general-storage card, and SanDisk’s standard warranty excludes dash-cam use. We can help you choose a card for your camera model.
Will it fit my phone, tablet or computer?
Your device must support microSDXC cards and 128GB capacity. The included SD adapter lets the card fit a full-size SD slot, but the device still needs SDXC support.
What does A1 mean?
A1 is an application-performance rating for supported devices. It helps identify cards suited to storing and running apps; it is not a high-endurance rating for repeated dash-cam recording.
Do I need a separate card reader?
Only if your computer does not have a suitable card slot. Our USB-A microSD card reader accepts 128GB microSDXC cards for file transfers. Its transfer speed depends on the reader and computer; it is not a promise of the card’s maximum advertised speed.
Should I format the card before using it?
Follow your device’s card-formatting instructions. Back up any files first, because formatting erases the card. The capacity shown after formatting will be lower than the labelled 128GB.
