BlackVue's OEM(Original) power cable

The Cigarette lighter adapter power cable allows a simple, plug and play connection between your BlackVue camera and a female cigarette socket connection, as found in the majority of vehicles.

It is reccomended to connect to a socket that only powers on with the vehicle

What is Parking Mode?

Parking mode is offered on most of the dash cams available at BlackboxMyCar. While it is important to protect your vehicle while driving, it is just as important to have your vehicle protected while it is parked. When the dash cam is in parking mode, footage will only be saved when there is an impact and/or motion. Parking mode can be enabled with a hardwiring kit or a battery pack.

What is a Hardwire Kit?

A hardwiring kit enables parking mode. It allows your dash cam to remain powered on even when the vehicle's ignition is turned off. Installation is a breeze as you will only need to find an accessory fuse, constant fuse, and a grounding point.

What is a Battery Pack?

Most customers purchase the battery pack to avoid using the vehicle’s battery to power their dash cam. The battery pack is charged by either being hardwired into an accessory fuse or by being plugged into one of the vehicle's 12-volt cigarette sockets. We recommend the hardwiring the battery pack as it charges the battery pack quicker.

How much footage will my memory card store?

On average, a 2-channel dash cam writes 16GB/hour and a 1-channel dash cam writes about 8GB/hour.

Do I need a Rear Camera?

Accidents or events don't always happen at the front of the vehicle! Having a rear camera provides coverage for any events or accidents that may happen at the rear of the vehicle.

Do I need a IR Rear Camera?

An IR camera is designed to record the interior of the vehicle in low light conditions. This option is very popular among rideshare drivers.

What is a CPL filter?

A CPL filter attaches to the dash cam lens to eliminate lens flares, light reflections, and windshield glares.

As you can see from the picture, BlackVue 12 Volt Cigarette Lighter Power Cable explain what minimalism is while it has all black color plastic from top to the end. Even the cable is hidden in the roof of the car, however, you could still have the strong sense of how good it is because it use the special material which containing supernatural power from the Universal. It’s a power plug

Even for something as simple as a power plug, which- it works, it’s a power plug, it’s more than that. BBMC really goes the extra mile. They put customer service first and foremost. That’s why anything dashcam related I need, they’re my go to. A year and a half after a sale, they’re still willing to help. Worth the trip to Richmond if you’re even somewhat close. Replacement OEM cable - great quality

I recently purchased this OEM lighter adapter replacement cable as I had left mine in my previous vehicle that I recently traded. I could have ordered this online but I prefer to come in person and support my local companies. They have excellent customer service and were able to test the cable with me onsite before purchase. spare parts for Blackvue dash cam

I want to thank you for dealing with my request so efficiently. I actually received the parcel from UPS a day early (being superintendent at a 78 apartment building, I got to know the driver so he brought it to me at the end of his shift) and it was exactly what I ordered. I can now transfer the camera to the Jeep with very little effort, and not using it so often, didn't warrant buying a separate camera for it, the holder and power supply mean I just plug and play. Thanks again, If ever I need something like this, I will be sure to contact you again...

Power Cable for BlackVue

Good replacement value as always. As I mentioned in earlier review, after a couple years of everyday use the power cable line connecting the input to a 12 Volt socket becomes brittle, loose and the wires will eventually crimp and become exposed. After that, the power cable becomes quite sensitive as to when it decides to receive power from the 12V socket. It may work some days and not the next. The inline fuse is always good and has not blown. I also kept the "old" fuse as a backup. In addition, I have noticed that the newer replacement power cables now come with 2 inline fuses. One in the socket connector and one further along the power cable itself. It is alot easier to replace the power cable(s) than try and resolder the loose connections.
