Video Playback
On the right side of the screen, you should see a section labeled playlist, along with a long list of front + rear footage. If you press the continuous button next to Playlist, you can specify what type of footage you would like to find. Double clicking on any footage will begin playing it. During playback, you can also see the G-sensor data and speed data on the bottom.
Now, on the right side of the Thinkware PC / Mac Viewer, you can either see the alternate camera angle if you have a two channel setup, or you can choose the map overlay which will show the location of your vehicle at the time of the video. You can also choose to play the video in full-screen and also zoom in by using the various shortcuts on the screen.
Right below the front camera feed off to the right side are a few options to alter the video, the first one with an A will auto-play the following videos, followed by the brightness button, and another option to zoom in to the video itself. Especially useful options for picking out particular details like license plates.
Need a particular video clip? Simply click the download shortcut to save a copy onto your computer's hard drive.
Configure Settings
If you want to change your dash camera settings, you can click the settings tab on the top left, and click dash cam settings which will open a separate window similar to what you see on the smartphone Wi-Fi app. If you do change any settings, make sure to hit the Save button so that they will be applied when you insert the card back into the camera.
Under the settings tab, there are also a few settings to change the language and speed unit of the PC viewer itself. The dash cam info tab will also tell you what firmware you're running and which version of the safety camera database you have installed on your Thinkware dash cam.
