Sun glare, shadows and dim streets can make a recording harder to read. ARC 800 combines a Sony STARVIS 2 sensor, AI image processing and Dual HDR to help manage those conditions.

Smart Parking Mode
At high cabin temperatures, ARC 800 can switch from Motion Detection or Time Lapse to Energy Saving, then return when conditions allow.
Parking duration depends on the power setup, battery condition, settings and environment. Installation and any external battery are separate.

Motion Detection
Records detected motion and impacts, including 10 seconds before and 10 seconds after the event.
Time Lapse
Records at 2 FPS for a condensed view of the time your car is parked.
Energy Saving
Uses lower power and starts an impact recording when a shock is detected. It focuses on impacts rather than continuous parking footage.

5 GHz Wi-Fi for local downloads
Connect a nearby phone to access recordings. Thinkware states transfers can be up to 3× faster than 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi; actual speed depends on the phone and connection.
Local Wi-Fi works near the vehicle. It does not provide remote live view.

The included 32GB card gets you started. For more storage, add a compatible microSD card up to 512GB, sold separately.
Loop recording can replace older files. Copy important recordings to separate storage.

Does the rear camera record in 4K?
The included rear camera records Full HD 1920 × 1080 at 30 FPS. The front records 4K UHD at 30 FPS or 2K QHD at 60 FPS.
What do I need for parking recording?
A suitable constant-power installation. The hardwiring cable is included; installation is separate. Ask us to confirm the power plan for your vehicle before ordering.
Can I watch my vehicle remotely?
The standard kit gives you local touchscreen playback and nearby Wi-Fi. Remote THINKWARE CONNECTED features need a compatible optional LTE Module and applicable service.
Can I add more cameras later?
Thinkware lists optional Multiplexer support for up to five channels with additional compatible cameras. The Multiplexer and extra cameras are not included; confirm the exact accessories with us.
