Philips GoSure GS5101D Front and Rear Dash Cam

Choose the Philips GoSure GS5101D for front-road recording with a second camera facing behind the vehicle. The front camera records 2K / 1600p, with a built-in screen and nearby phone access over Wi-Fi. This package includes the rear camera and its 6m connection cable; a memory card is sold separately.

The Sony IMX335 front sensor records a 1600p view through an F2.0 lens with a 135° field of view. The supplied rear camera adds a view through the rear window. Aim both cameras and inspect original recordings after installation; light, glare, distance and motion affect visible detail.

Screen controls and nearby Wi-Fi

Use the built-in display and buttons for setup, or connect a nearby phone through 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and GoSure Safe. Entering the camera menu stops recording. Return to the recording screen and confirm the blinking red recording indicator before driving.

Save important clips promptly

Collision detection can mark recordings for the emergency folder, but locked files still need a separate backup. Formatting erases locked clips too. Use a suitable Class 10 microSD card, format it in the camera and power off before removing it.

Use the supplied driving-power connection

The package includes a vehicle adapter and 3.6m power cord. For collision-triggered parking recording or time lapse, add a compatible hardwire kit with low-voltage detection and voltage conversion. A permanently powered accessory socket is not proof of battery protection. See our parking-mode guide for installation planning.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does this package include the rear camera?

Yes. This GS5101D package includes a rear-road camera and its 6m connection cable. The standalone GS5101 front-camera package is a different offer.

Which card should I buy?

For our North American stock, use a genuine compatible Class 10 microSD card from 16GB to 128GB. A card is not included. Format it in the camera before first use.

Can I leave the camera menu open while driving?

No. The North American manual says entering the menu stops recording. Finish setup while parked, return to the recording display and check the blinking red recording indicator before driving.

Are locked videos kept forever?

No. The manual warns that locked clips may still be overwritten, and formatting deletes them. Copy important recordings to another device before formatting or relying on the card as an archive.

What is needed for parking recording?

Use a separate compatible hardwire kit with low-voltage detection and voltage conversion. The supplied vehicle adapter is the driving-power connection. Check kit compatibility with this camera before ordering.

Does Wi-Fi let me check the car from anywhere?

No. It connects a nearby phone to the camera for local access through GoSure Safe. Check the third-party app’s current phone requirements before downloading.
