Keep a dash cam power cable in place with this pack of five Thinkware Cable Clips. Each clip has a 3M adhesive backing and holds the wire along your chosen route. They are useful when installing a camera in another vehicle or replacing missing clips.

Keep loose cable out of the way

Plan the cable route before sticking the clips down. Leave enough cable at the camera for its connection, then secure the loose sections along suitable interior surfaces. Follow the camera and vehicle installation instructions, keeping the route clear of airbags, controls and moving parts.

Thinkware specifies these clips for cables used with all its dash cam models. For a replacement power lead, see the Thinkware 12V Power Cable. If the camera bracket is missing, choose the matching Thinkware Front Windshield Mount.

Apply the adhesive to a clean, dry surface. Avoid placing a clip where it will pull on a connector or force a sharp bend in the cable.

How many cable clips are included?

Will these work with my Thinkware camera?

Thinkware lists these clips for all its dash cam models. They secure the cable along its route rather than connecting electrically to the camera.

Do I need to buy adhesive separately?

No. The clips have 3M adhesive backing. Prepare a clean, dry mounting surface before applying them.

Can the clips hold the camera on the windshield?

No. These are cable holders. Use a Thinkware Front Windshield Mount that matches your camera if you need its mounting bracket.

Where should I position the clips?

Place them along a cable route that follows your camera and vehicle instructions. Keep wiring clear of airbags, controls and moving parts, and avoid pulling on the camera connector.

Is a power cable included?

No. This is a five-pack of clips. A Thinkware 12V Power Cable is available separately if you need a compatible replacement lead.

The clips work well.

The clips work well, but again with Accessories from Blackbox, the price is steep. The clips are $20 for 5 then $10 for shipping. These clips should cost $2 each and throw in a Canada Post small packet for $5.
