Nexar Pro Full HD Front and Infrared Cabin Dash Cam

We recommend the Nexar Pro if you need front-road recording and an infrared view of passengers, and your phone supports Nexar Classic. It pairs the road camera with a separate cabin camera for phone-based setup and incident access. Use the supplied USB cable and vehicle adapter. This Classic Pro is not a parking-hardwire installation.

Road and cabin coverage

The two cameras provide Full HD views of the road ahead and the vehicle interior. The front lens has a 135° diagonal view; the cabin camera has a 115° view. Position both mounts so the cameras have clear views and their cables do not obstruct driving.

Infrared cabin recording

The interior camera uses ten 940nm infrared LEDs for a dark cabin. Its short connection lead joins the front camera. Infrared cabin lighting is separate from the road camera’s night recording; check both saved views after installation.

Phone pairing and incident backups

Complete setup in the Nexar Classic app on a compatible phone. Significant incidents can back up to your Nexar Cloud account while connected as required. This phone-assisted backup does not make the camera an independent LTE device or provide remote live viewing from an unoccupied vehicle.

Parking incidents after app setup

After pairing in Nexar Classic and completing a drive, the camera can enter impact standby when driving power ends. A detected event wakes it for a 30-second clip. The alert and video arrive when your phone reconnects nearby, rather than as instant remote alerts. Keep the supplied driving-power setup. Nexar does not recommend continuous power for this Classic Pro.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which app should I use?

Use Nexar Classic for this older Pro model, and check the current supported-phone requirements before ordering. Complete pairing and firmware setup while parked, then confirm a saved front and cabin recording.

Does it send live parking alerts to a distant phone?

No. After an incident, the app notifies you when the phone reconnects over Bluetooth. Video transfer also needs the phone nearby over Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Cloud backup depends on the required phone and internet connection.

Does parking mode need a hardwire kit?

No. Pair the camera successfully in Nexar Classic and use its supplied driving-power setup. Nexar says this Classic Pro is not configured for a continuous power source. Do not substitute guidance for newer Nexar One or Beam2 models.

Will it record every moment while parked?

Parking mode waits for an impact or unusual movement, then wakes for a 30-second clip. It does not record continuously or provide a pre-impact buffer. Standby duration depends on the available battery charge and conditions.

What card is included?

A microSD card is included. Contact us to confirm its capacity before ordering if that affects your choice. This model supports compatible cards up to 256GB. Back up important files before formatting or replacing the card.

Is this a weatherproof rear camera?

No. The second camera is an infrared interior camera for occupants. It is intended for installation inside the vehicle, not outside or as a Truck camera.
