[REFURBISHED] VIOFO A139 3-Channel Dash Cam with GPS

I installed this camera into my girlfriend's card since she didn't have one. I have the VIOFO 119A dual, so I knew they were a good company and made a good product. Her Nissan had some issues with the install, including my own fault for not getting the correct fuse attachments and finding a good ground bolt, however, the setup was easy outside of that and works wonderfully. The app is intuitive and useful, and all the cords fit well out of site.
My only complaint, which is minor, is the color for the interior camera. Blacks become purple. Not a huge deal, but just something to be aware of.

Be careful going with this model.

I brought mine in about 2 months after purchase because the micro sd card self ejected and the camera refused to hold the card anymore.
Luckily it was under warranty and BBMC replaced it for me free of charge.
But 2 years later the same thing happened and now I'm left hunting for a new dashcam.

VIOFO brand is top-notch and has all the needs for a great dash cam. Great quality camera that captures fine details even in low light situation. This is my second purchase of a VIOFO brand dash cam.

This is my 4th dash cam from BlackboxMyCar and they really have taken care of me. The Viofo A139 Pro 3 channel is the best dash cam to date. I love it and I’m an Uber driver, so a quality dash cam is a must have.

I had this camera now for over two years. I had to send it in twice to get repair. It will stop recording for days, but the camera is showing recording. I wont buy another one. I will stick to blackvue.

The jury is still out. Camera video quality is nice when it’s working. Camera tends to lock up from time to time so I can’t trust it. Reached out to VIOFO – submitted 2 tickets – got no response. Currently going thought the laborious RMA process with BlackBoxMyCar. They don’t just send you a replacement. I’ve had the camera for less than 2 months. It’s not summer so heat should not be the issue with the lock up as others have complained. I’ve tried updating the firmware using vendors and every YouTube recommendation/process out there. Camera never updates. This is my 1st VIOFO camera out of probably 6 Dashcams I’ve had. For now, I’d stay away from this A139 Pro until they get the bugs worked out.

This is my third dash cam and by far has the fastest download speeds to my phone.

Camera works great. The image and videos are clear, hdr is on and I turned the cpl filter a tiny bit from center and got rid of glare. The app is a bit finicky but works great once I figured out to put my phone in airplane mode when connected to the cameras wifi for setup.

I’ve very satisfied with the A139. This is my first dash cam without a screen and turns out I don’t miss it at all %28once I was able to use the phone to get the settings dialed in…see below%29. The quality of the footage is also very good. %0D%0A%0D%0AI deducted one star because on my particular unit the WiFi constantly drops its connection to my iPhone. Very frustrating when you have enough time to maybe change one setting on the camera before the connection drops%29. At first I thought perhaps this was due to the various WiFi settings on my iPhone %28private WiFi address%2C limit IP tracking%2C auto joining other nearby networks%29 but no combination of settings fixed it. Then afterwards I installed a Viofo A129 in another vehicle and the same phone had zero issues keeping a solid WiFi connection with the camera. Changing the A139’s WiFi to 2.4 ghz didn’t help%2C nor did changing the default SSID and password. %0D%0A%0D%0AHoping a firmware update may help.

I have installed both the dash cam and power cell battery. Both are working flawlessly. The package came with a cable that will work for the A139 Pro. Great products and great service

Title says it all. Easy install. Easy to operate. Great video. Glad I bought it.

I really like the Viofo A139 Pro dash cam that I got from Blackbox. The service I got from BlackboxMyCar was great. I forgot to claim the discount I was offered when I ordered. No problem, the company refunded the difference to my credit card after a quick call.

Logging into the camera through my phone (android) it gets stuck at wifi (even tho I told it to remember me), I have to close the app and reopen after wifi connection for it start allowing access to settings/video logs/etc. If I make changes in settings it may stick, it may not, all I know is sometimes the settings are different than what I requested. Viewing video has no zoom, my doorbell has lower quality and let's me zoom. Dusk footage is...OK. Night glare is kinda bad but half that problem is unavoidable with stuff on the windscreen and is no fault of the camera. This will be a problem for any/all dashcams. As long as the sun doesn't cause glare issues day time video is great withsoftware seemingly the only hindrance from fully capitalizing on the quality. I'm hoping the devs are able to update/upgrade 80% of these gripes and hope for a more streamlined experience moving forward.

Oh and if you turn video loop off you would think video would run continously for your drive but it still parses it to around 9 minutes in 4k mode. 10 minute setting gives you more time than "off" so not sure why it was an option..

Bought this on sale and it is definitely a good purchase. Much better image quality than my previous camera. I don't really do ridesharing but it is nice to know I'll be safer if I do. The IR camera was defective from the box. Reached out to the support team and received excellent support from Katrina. The whole BBMC crew are product experts and are one of the reasons why I chose to purchase from BBMC compared to other online vendors. The information available from their YouTube channel is also extremely helpful.

This was the second cam I installed in my Subaru Legacy sedan - my first, a Campark/Cambase DC40, didn't work out very well. So I already knew my way around routing the wiring in my car, which is without any forward-facing driver assist cams or sensors and the attendant housing for them behind the mirror. This made my installation comparatively easy. The A139 works flawlessly and the video quality is excellent - on a par with Blackvue and Thinkware cams that cost much more, judging by the reviews I've seen on Youtube (including the ones by Blackboxmycar.) The separate interior camera makes for a slightly less tidy installation but gives great flexibility in finding a mounting location for it. The skinny, slightly stiff coax wiring for the interior and rear cams makes for a very easy and neat installation, but from what I've read, some people with early A139s last year had trouble with getting reliable connections to those cameras - the typical symptom seemed to be loose connectors on the A139 main camera. No problems like that for me. I would recommend the A139 based on my own experience with it.

Great, relatively easy to set up (actual set up took less than 5 minutes, but it took me about an hour to do the complete set up including hiding wiring in my car) and overall happy with the quality. Only wish that all the cameras were 60fps.

I am overall happy with my purchase. The video quality is great. The mobile app could use some updating though. Slow transfers over wifi, random disconnects in the middle of a transfers, etc. Definitely happy with the videos thenselves though

I had a Viofo a139 on my Honda CRV and it was holding up well so I have decided to purchase a new one for my Honda Civic. It works well during summer and winter time. No issues with the heat and Viofo also updates its firmware every so often. All in all, I am happy with my purchase on BlackboxMyCar. Everything went smooth. Will definitely buy an external battery pack in the future.

The purchase on the website was fast and so was the shipping. I was able to install myself. The directions are very clear. Videos are very clear. This by far the best dash cam I have had.
