BlackVue DR590W-2CH IR Full HD Dash Cam

Choose the BlackVue DR590W-2CH IR for front-road and cabin recording with nearby Wi-Fi access. Both cameras record Full HD at 30FPS, and the interior camera uses infrared lighting for a dark cabin. A 16GB microSD card and reader are included; GPS is optional.

This is tested, like-new refurbished Outlet stock, checked through our in-house 10-point inspection. A 12-month BlackboxMyCar warranty and normal returns apply; see our warranty and return terms.

Full HD road and cabin views

The front camera records the road ahead while the separate infrared camera records occupants inside the vehicle. Both record 1920 × 1080 at 30FPS. This is a front-and-cabin kit, not a rear-road or exterior Truck-camera package.

Infrared lighting inside the vehicle

The cabin camera uses infrared LEDs in low light, while the front uses a Sony STARVIS sensor for the road. Aim each view and review saved footage by day and night after installation. Cabin infrared lighting does not illuminate the road ahead.

Parking recording needs protected power

Motion-and-impact parking recording needs a compatible maintained power connection. Add a suitable protected power controller or dash cam battery with the correct output connection; the ordinary switched accessory socket stops supplying power with ignition off. See our parking-mode guide before choosing the installation.

Direct Wi-Fi without remote Cloud viewing

Connect a nearby phone over 2.4GHz Wi-Fi to change settings and copy clips through the BlackVue app. The optional external GPS receiver adds recorded speed and location. This model does not provide BlackVue Cloud remote viewing or live vehicle tracking.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this a rear-road camera package?

No. Its second camera records the cabin with infrared lighting and belongs inside the vehicle. Choose a standard rear-road package if you want a view through the rear window.

How does DR590W differ from DR590?

The W model includes local Wi-Fi for a nearby phone. Check the complete model name when selecting the manual and firmware; do not install DR590X or Plus firmware.

Is GPS included?

No. A compatible external GPS receiver is optional. The camera records without it; GPS adds speed and location information for playback rather than remote tracking.

What extra equipment does parking recording need?

Use a compatible dash cam battery or protected power-controller installation with the correct camera connection. This older W-series camera should not be treated as a newer X-series model with the same hardwire controls. A switched vehicle socket supplies driving power only.

Can I watch it remotely?

No. Wi-Fi connects the nearby phone directly to the camera for local access. The DR590W does not provide BlackVue Cloud remote live view.

Which memory card comes with it?

A 16GB microSD card and one reader are included. Check the exact DR590W firmware and current manufacturer card guidance before choosing an upgrade. Copy important recordings elsewhere before formatting or loop overwrite.
