Three views, one separate recorder

The front camera records Full HD at 60FPS; the rear-road and interior cameras record Full HD at 30FPS. All three use Sony STARVIS sensors. The interior camera has infrared LEDs for low-light cabin recording.

Mount the recording box in a suitable concealed location, allow ventilation and route a cable to each camera. The locking cover and screw-secured camera cases help restrict access; they do not guarantee protection against tampering.

Choose local access or an internet connection

Use the BlackVue app over nearby 2.4GHz Wi-Fi to review files and settings. The supplied external GPS receiver records speed and location when reception is available. The SOS button starts manual recording after pairing; it is not an emergency-call service.

Remote Cloud features need a separate internet hotspot or compatible BlackVue LTE module, plus any required activated SIM, data and service plan. Internet coverage, power and service conditions affect availability. The LTE module and data are separate purchases.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does this include a rear-road camera or only cabin recording?

Both are included, along with the front camera. The cabin camera faces inside the vehicle; it is not the exterior waterproof Truck camera. The three views do not eliminate blind spots.

How do I power parking recording?

Use the included hardwiring cable with a suitable installation and set the voltage and timer cutoffs. If you want a separate parking power reserve, we recommend our PowerCell 8 with a compatible BlackVue output cable. Runtime depends on activity, settings, temperature and available power.

Which parking recording modes can I choose?

Motion-and-impact detection retains buffered activity recordings. Time lapse records at 1FPS and saves a normal-speed event when an impact is detected. The ACC signal can trigger parking mode when hardwired; another maintained power source uses the stationary G-sensor trigger. A switched cigarette-lighter socket cannot provide ongoing parked power.

Can I view it remotely without extra equipment?

Local recording and nearby Wi-Fi review work without LTE. Remote Cloud viewing needs internet, camera power and the appropriate service plan. A phone used for local camera access is not proof that remote Cloud is connected.

Which card is supplied?

A microSD card and reader are included; contact us to confirm its capacity before ordering. BlackVue’s current guidance includes compatible 512GB cards with the latest DR770X Box firmware; confirm the exact card and firmware with us before upgrading. Copy important footage elsewhere before formatting or overwriting.

What condition and warranty should I expect?

Our in-house 10-point functionality check applies, with a 12-month BlackboxMyCar warranty. Original packaging or printed instructions may differ from new stock. The normal warranty and returns policy applies.
