Where does this foam pad go?
It goes on the back of the compatible camera where the camera meets the mount. Follow the linked VIOFO positioning guide and align the cutouts.
Is this the adhesive that sticks the mount to the glass?
No. This EVA pad helps stabilise the camera-to-mount fit. Windshield mounting adhesive is a separate part.
How many pieces does this listing include?
One piece, as shown by the selected product option. The manufacturer’s current two-pack is a different sales quantity.
Which cameras is it made for?
VIOFO names the original A119, A119S and A119 V3 for this pad shape. Compare the mount interface before installation; do not assume newer A119 Mini or A119M cameras use the same shape.
Will it repair a cracked or damaged mount?
No. It reduces movement at a compatible intact mount interface. A damaged or loose mounting part needs inspection and the correct replacement.
Should I apply it to the windshield?
No. Use it at the camera-to-mount interface shown in VIOFO’s guide. Keep mounting slots and electrical contacts clear, and check that the camera seats correctly.
Does it improve video resolution or add GPS?
No. It is a mechanical foam pad. It adds no recording feature, sensor, power connection or GPS hardware.
Where can I find positioning instructions?
Use VIOFO’s A119/A119S EVA pad installation guide. It shows the pad placement for this mount style. Check the fit after refitting the camera.
