The BlackboxMyCar S-Drive 10 is no longer listed in our Canadian catalogue, but it remains available through our U.S. store. It adds wireless CarPlay, Android Auto, a front dash cam and a rear backup-camera view to vehicles without a modern built-in display.

For the cables, the S-Drive display comes with a USB-C Cigarette Lighter Power Cable, offering a smooth and efficient plug-and-play solution. It also includes a Monitor Base and adhesive Mount for easy mounting of the ten-inch display, right on your dashboard.
Over the years, we’ve had a ton of customers ask us about backup camera options, and that’s why we’ve included this wired rear backup camera! This is an optional upgrade, and can be a little tricky for wiring from the front to the rear, but it can be an invaluable addition to parking and maneuvering in tight spaces, which is great for eliminating blind spots.
BlackboxMyCar S-Drive User Interface
Apart from making sure that the functions and features are easy to use and understand, we also ensured that it’s quick and responsive. For its User Interface, the BlackboxMyCar S-Drive consists of various functions accessible through its touchscreen. You can adjust the device's settings, display, volume and audio output options, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, and Bluetooth music.
Moreover, the BlackboxMyCar S-Drive has full support for various apps, from full mapping data through Google Maps, hands-free messaging and calls, and compatibility with your favourite music streaming sources such as Spotify, Apple Music, and Deezer. Even better, you won’t even need to download any of these apps, they’ll show up on the display once you pair it with your phone!
Pairing is convenient through the built-in Carplay and Android Auto. Once paired, the display will function in the same seamless way as advanced carplay systems, automatically pairing with your phone through Bluetooth once you enter the vehicle.
For those who love to drive with music, or simply want to turn on the radio while hitting the road, the BlackboxMyCar S-Drive also features an FM Transmitter for broadcasting audio as a radio signal, and an AUX cable for an AUX connection. If your vehicle speakers already have Bluetooth speakers, it can pair with those too.
Note: Android Auto supports both wired and wireless connections, while Apple CarPlay exclusively supports wireless connectivity.
BlackboxMyCar S-Drive Dual-Channel Backup Dash Cam
Beyond entertainment, we also prioritize safety. Through what? Dash cams, of course. You all know how much we love dash cams, that’s why we made sure that the S-Drive has a built-in dash cam, and the backup camera will record while driving too.
Powered by an Allwinner Cortex-A7 processor and designed to record detailed footage, the BlackboxMyCar S-Drive Display records 1080p video resolution for the front and back.
On the other hand, the S-Drive also has an optional rear backup camera that is designed to be fixed to the rear license plate area, with a small and discrete camera. The view will be sent to the display when the vehicle is put into reverse, viewing all reversing details on the display along with guiding angles.
Honestly, the image quality isn’t going to be as high-end as some of our specialist models like VIOFO, but when we were designing the S-Drive, we wanted to give you guys something that wrapped all these features in one convenient package.
You can’t hardwire this unit, only connecting it with the cigarette lighter adapter, so that means no parking mode.
BlackboxMyCar S-Drive Convenience Features
Just like how long its name is, the BlackboxMyCar S-Drive 10-inch Wireless CarPlay & Android Auto Display also boasts a long list of jam-packed features. The BlackboxMyCar S-Drive is also equipped with Wi-Fi, which can be used to review dash cam footage, same as standard dash cams.
Like any other Dash Cam, that portion of the S-Drive will not work without the microSD card. Plus, you can download music and movies to the SD card, for viewing later over the display. The good news is that every package comes with a 64GB microSD card for storage, although if you wish to upgrade it, it can support memory cards up to 256GB.
Moreover, the S-Drive is also equipped with a built-in Mic and speaker for capturing and broadcasting audio. Plus, it has Voice Controls that can assist you in performing simple operations, such as turn off and on the display, and show the front and rear cameras.
Beyond those features, the S-Drive also has Screen Mirroring functions and Android Cast, which allow you to stream media from your phone, like movies, directly to the display.
