As many cities across the globe go into a lockdown due to the COVID-19 outbreak, many of us are stuck at home juggling kids and conference calls. Yes, it’s tough and stressful, trying to balance work and family. But while we are complaining, a particular group of people would give anything and everything to spend just a little more time with their loved ones - those who work tirelessly around the clock at the hospital, healthcare facilities and at the borders to keep us safe and healthy.
It is physically and mentally draining staying at work, being at the frontline, away from family and loved ones. It’s terrifying the thought of bringing the virus home to the family, and it’s even more terrifying to realize that your job could potentially keep you away from your loved ones for who knows how long.
