The IROAD OBD cable is only compatible with IROAD, FineVu, and Thinkware dash cams.

If your vehicle is a non-electric, PHEV or hybrid vehicle (ie. non plug in vehicle that derives all or some of its power from a conventional gasoline engine), then please select the "Non-Electric/Hybrid" option.

If you drive a true electric vehicle (ie. it gets all of its power from electrical sources), then please select the "Electric" option.

Overview

IROAD OBD-II Power Cable for Electric / Non-Electric / Hybrid Vehicles

The IROAD Power OBD-II cable enables easy parking mode recording for IROAD, Thinkware, or FineVu dash cams by simply plugging into the OBD terminal. Features include:

  • Status LED and a mode switch for driving only (S) or both driving and parking (P)
  • Overcurrent shutdown protection (minimum 3.4A)
  • Compatible with electric, hybrid, and non-electric vehicles*
  • Built-in low voltage cut-off at 11.2V, supporting higher cut-offs through your dash cam
  • Activates parking mode quickly upon vehicle shutoff; may require the vehicle to be stationary for 5 minutes in some models
  • Minimal power draw of ~6 mA

Compatibility

The IROAD OBD-II Power Cable is NOT compatible with the following vehicles. We recommend using a hardwiring kit instead.

Better than Thinkware brand cable
