Front-Facing 4K Ultra HD + True 2K Telephoto Zoom

The VIOFO A329T 2-Channel system combines the best of both worlds: an ultra-sharp 4K front camera with the powerful Sony STARVIS 2 IMX678 sensor for incredibly crisp video, and an auxiliary 2K telephoto lens with 4X optical zoom.

This telephoto channel (using the Sony STARVIS 2 IMX675 sensor) provides a narrow, focused field of view, ideal for recording distant traffic scenarios and ensuring no detail is lost—especially when you need to read far-away plates or signs for insurance and security.

Unrivaled Low-Light Performance with STARVIS 2

Both cameras utilize Sony STARVIS 2 sensors, famed for their low-light capability and balanced dynamic range.

Whether in broad daylight, dense fog, or the darkest night, the A329T’s advanced imaging chips deliver cleaner footage, vivid color, and minimal noise—so you always get the evidence you need, no matter the conditions.

Must use specific SSD, Limited to 10 min loop

Edit: Viofo support was able to help ultimately. Which SSD is connected made the difference. I tried 2 different SSD's and the camera would freeze when booting with both. Viofo sent a list of specific SSD's that were known to work. I got a Samsung T7 Shield 4TB and it worked. Perhaps this requires an SSD with a very fast read/write speed. I'll update to 4 stars because the sensitivity of which SSD and a limit of 10 min. loop... though that is truly not bad compared to most. I just expected that if I connect a 4TB SSD, I should be able to record entire trips.

The ability to connect an SSD was a huge selling point for this. However, there are 2 issues:
1. There is no option to save all recordings. My SSD is big enough it should be able to save the whole trip. But it limits to loop recording at max 10 min.
2. The camera does not work with the SSD connected. I've had it working with the SSD connected the first time I connected and then the 2nd time, the camera will not boot up. It stays frozen on the splash screen. I drove for more than an hour without it going any further. I've been messaging with support and got it working 1 more time so far and then back to just stopping at the splash screen every time I have the SSD connected. It works fine without the SSD.

I'm still working with support, but am disappointed and losing hope. Even if they can get the camera to work with an SSD connected, a10 min. loop as the best option is still not what I expected for this.
