Guide d'installation simple

  • Le kit d'ajout de fusible peut être utilisé lors de l'installation de n'importe quel kit de câblage pour votre caméra de tableau de bord. Pour utiliser le kit d'ajout de fusible, vous devez avoir accès à la boîte à fusibles de votre véhicule.
  • Si vous utilisez un kit de câblage standard, vous devez toujours connecter le fil jaune à un fusible permanent, le fil rouge à un fusible d'allumage/ACC et le fil noir à une masse. Consultez notre guide sur les boîtes à fusibles de câblage pour des informations plus détaillées.

Guide de compatibilité Add-a-Fuse

Avant l'installation, vérifiez le nombre de fusibles dont vous aurez besoin dans votre kit de câblage. Si votre kit de câblage est doté d'un ACC constant +, vous aurez besoin de 2 fusibles. S'il s'agit uniquement d'ACC, vous n'aurez besoin que d'un seul fusible. En utilisant des fusibles supplémentaires, vous transformerez un emplacement de fusible dans votre boîte à fusibles en deux pour une installation plus propre et une sécurité accrue.

Quel fusible supplémentaire convient à mon véhicule ? La réponse dépend du véhicule que vous conduisez. Pour trouver la réponse, vous pouvez consulter le manuel du propriétaire de votre véhicule, rechercher la réponse sur Google ou consulter le concessionnaire chez qui vous avez déjà acheté le véhicule.

Les options de fusibles supplémentaires incluent ATO, Mini Fuse, Low-Profile et Micro 2. Toutes les options incluront leur fusible approprié. Les fusibles Micro 3 sont désormais disponibles

Le fusible Micro 3 est principalement conçu pour les véhicules modernes qui utilisent des fusibles à lame Micro 3 dans leurs boîtes à fusibles. Les fusibles Micro 3 se trouvent dans certains modèles Ford/Chrysler plus récents, dans les véhicules GM (General Motors), ainsi que dans certains véhicules européens et JDM.

Comme ils sont plus spécialisés et uniques, ils ne seront actuellement pas inclus dans l'option « 1 de chaque ».

Cannot select 2x micro 3 fuse in the browser

Cannot select 2x micro 3 fuses in the browser nor was it available when I purchased this.

My major gripe is

My major gripe is that this kit does not include an option for a mini-3 fuse. I guess my 2023 GMC pickup is "niche and unique". Every GM truck is "niche and unique" as well. So I had to order what was needed (mini-3 add-a-fuse) from Amazon in order to hook up the hardwire kit, I should have skipped this product completely and just ordered what I needed from Amazon.

Thanks for your feedback, Kevin. Just to clarify, the fuse size commonly used in many GM trucks is Micro 3, and we do offer that as a selectable option on this product.

The 2-of-each kit you selected does not include Micro 3 taps, as that fuse style is not commonly used across most vehicles. We also note this on the product listing so customers who need Micro 3 can choose that option separately.

We understand the inconvenience, but the Micro 3 option was available at the time of purchase and is specifically intended for vehicles like your GMC.

frustrating, fuse broke as soon as I pulled it from the adapter. As context, I was going to install it in an empty slot, however the camera was not turning on, as soon as I pulled the fuse to put the car fuse in the right position and the plastic structure of the fuse did not resist

Low Profile Mini cable wasn't a good fit

When installing on my 5G Outback, had issues with the low profile mini - the plastic insert for the low profile wasn't sized properly in the add-a-fuse. So it didn't fit in the fuse holder. Rather than sanding it down, opted to use the mini add-a-fuse instead.

There was no issues with that work around.

Otherwise, documentation, the system, and installation worked great. Going into this, it was actually the part of the installation whcih I didn't worry about at all. It ended up bering a pain but not a show stopper.

Fuse ordering confusing

So I ordered the fuse kit, got the fuse kit, opened it up, attached my dashcam, and poor me didn't verify that I had the right ones before I wired them up to my dashcam wires. Took a fuse out of my fusebox, tried to push it in, wrong fuse holder. Cut of the add a fuses, threw them in the trash, drove to 4 autozones to finally find one that had them in stock, and did it all again. Sometimes time is more important than money.
