Qu'est-ce que le mode stationnement ?

Le mode stationnement est proposé sur la plupart des caméras embarquées disponibles sur BlackboxMyCar. S'il est important de protéger votre véhicule pendant la conduite, il est tout aussi important de le protéger lorsqu'il est garé. Lorsque la caméra embarquée est en mode stationnement, les images ne seront enregistrées qu'en cas d'impact et/ou de mouvement. Le mode stationnement peut être activé à l'aide d'un kit de câblage ou d'une batterie.

Qu'est-ce qu'un kit de câblage ?

Un kit de câblage permet d'activer le mode stationnement. Il permet à votre caméra embarquée de rester allumée même lorsque le contact du véhicule est coupé. L'installation est un jeu d'enfant car vous n'aurez besoin que d'un fusible accessoire, d'un fusible constant et d'un point de mise à la terre.

Qu'est-ce qu'une batterie ?

La plupart des clients achètent la batterie pour éviter d'utiliser la batterie du véhicule pour alimenter leur caméra embarquée. La batterie est chargée soit en étant câblée dans un fusible accessoire, soit en étant branchée sur l'une des prises allume-cigare 12 volts du véhicule. Nous recommandons de câbler la batterie car cela la charge plus rapidement.

Quelle quantité de séquences ma carte mémoire peut-elle stocker ?

En moyenne, une caméra de tableau de bord à 2 canaux écrit 16 Go/heure et une caméra de tableau de bord à 1 canal écrit environ 8 Go/heure.

Ai-je besoin d’une caméra arrière ?

Les accidents ou les événements ne se produisent pas toujours à l'avant du véhicule ! Une caméra de recul permet de couvrir tous les événements ou accidents qui peuvent se produire à l'arrière du véhicule.

Ai-je besoin d’une caméra arrière IR ?

Une caméra infrarouge est conçue pour enregistrer l'intérieur du véhicule dans des conditions de faible luminosité. Cette option est très populaire parmi les conducteurs de covoiturage.

Qu'est-ce qu'un filtre CPL ?

Un filtre CPL se fixe à l'objectif de la caméra de tableau de bord pour éliminer les reflets de l'objectif, les reflets lumineux et les reflets du pare-brise.

New BlackVue MicroSD Card is a DR900 Problem Solver

OK- I’ll admit that there are cheaper MicroSD Cards available, BUT if your BlackVue dash cam starts performing oddly or not at all - the first thing you should suspect is a memory card that has gone bad.
It’s worth the extra expense getting a new BlackVue MicroSD Card for a ill performing DR series. Their (higher priced) memory cards do solve most (it not all) issues in their dash cams! Just get it from BlackBoxMyCar to save $$ -
At least that did it for me.

SanDisk Ultra A1

The best thing to say about a product is that it works. There has been a lot of comparisons on the internet comparing Samsung and SanDisk and I like the fact that the Sandisk is endorsed for use with the Thinkware F800 Pro. I would, however, like to see other cards added to the list even if they are not necessarily sold and whether higher capacities are usable

It's what I needed. Works

It's what I needed. Works exactly as expected, using the Blackvue app on my computer. It was nice that they sent an additional USB, I didn't expect that.

Great Camera with room for improvements.

I love the camera. It's not too big and having it all black helps it hide along with my rear view mirror so it isn't noticeable unless you know to look at it. The quality of the video was slightly under expectations but still looks great. I wish the sensors that measure the G-force could be tuned a tad bit more to the insensitive side, I still get flagged events for going over minor bumps. I did have an issue with the adhesive tape on the mounting bracket for the dashcamera. After a week or two it fell off and it took me about half an hour to try and manage to get it to sit back on without it falling off. That was about a week ago and it's still holding, so might have just been a fluke.

The software that comes free to view the videos off of the SD card on PC works wonders but once again, has room for improvements. For example, the area given to supply custom text (For my name or brand of my car) will not allow me to type in the box, I have to type it elsewhere and copy & paste it into the box.

In conclusion, other than being slightly let down by the video quality and having a fluke issue with the mounting bracket. This product is perfect for what I need it for and it gets the job done, I would definitely recommend this to a friend.
