The CH-200 is the flagship 2 channel dash cam from the renowned Korean dash cam manufacturer BlackSys. It builds upon the success of the CH-100B by offering significant upgrades to the internals while keeping the body just as small and resilient in high heat environments. It is a market leader offering Full HD recording on both front and rear cameras with dual Sony EXMOR sensors, while most of its competitors still only offer 720P on the rear. Compared to its predecessor, the CH-100B, the CH-200 offers much better video quality at a higher bitrate as well, furthermore the transition to .MP4 files makes it much more user-friendly for iPhone and Mac users. Additional features like driver safety systems, larger micro SD support, and time lapse recording are welcome upgrades as well.

What is Parking Mode?
Parking mode is offered on most of the dash cams available at BlackboxMyCar. While it is important to protect your vehicle while driving, it is just as important to have your vehicle protected while it is parked. When the dash cam is in parking mode, footage will only be saved when there is an impact and/or motion. Parking mode can be enabled with a hardwiring kit or a battery pack.
For more information on parking mode, click here.
What is a Hardwire Kit?
A hardwiring kit enables parking mode. It allows your dash cam to remain powered on even when the vehicle's ignition is turned off. Installation is a breeze as you will only need to find an accessory fuse, constant fuse, and a grounding point.
What is a Battery Pack?
Most customers purchase the battery pack to avoid using the vehicle’s battery to power their dash cam. The battery pack is charged by either being hardwired into an accessory fuse or by being plugged into one of the vehicle's 12-volt cigarette sockets. We recommend the hardwiring the battery pack as it charges the battery pack quicker.

How much footage will my memory card store?
On average, a 2-channel dash cam writes 16GB/hour and a 1-channel dash cam writes about 8GB/hour.

Do I need a Rear Camera?
Accidents or events don't always happen at the front of the vehicle! Having a rear camera provides coverage for any events or accidents that may happen at the rear of the vehicle.
For more information on rear view cameras, click here.
Do I need a IR Rear Camera?
An IR camera is designed to record the interior of the vehicle in low light conditions. This option is very popular among rideshare drivers.

What is a CPL filter?
A CPL filter attaches to the dash cam lens to eliminate lens flares, light reflections, and windshield glares.

I have never dealt with a better online company than Black - prompt responses to questions, accommodating and fabulous staff - kudos to Mark & Zaid.
The camera itself is okay - directions are terrible; software is difficult to use; wifi is only good for aiming the camera; picture quality is good; camera build is very good as is the wiring..
I was hoping for a wifi system that would allow me to use my phone to view inside my house what was captured in Parking Mode - unfortunately you have to turn on the unit to enable wifi mode. Oh well, live & learn.
One tip, configure setting through your computer not through the phone - much easier and more stable
Hi Matthew, thanks for leaving a review. We try our best to help our customers, so we'll definitely forward your feedback to Mark & Zaid. The BlackSys CH-200 is part of the older generation of dash cams, so you've pointed out a couple of things that are consistent with that, unfortunately. However, when/if you're interested in upgrading to a newer model, let us know! We're here to help :)
Got a refurbished unit, and it is operating as I would expect. As others have mentioned, the UI of the app leaves something to be desired, but for what its doing, it is well worth the mild inconveniences.
The only hiccup I experienced was with the WIFI adapter. it was already installed on the unit, but may not have been seated correctly. Once i removed it and re-installed it worked. Spent about 30 minutes trying to trouble shoot that.
video and sound quality is fine. The only complaint is there is no way to mute the lane assist and collision warnings. I wish I could disable some of them, rather than an all or nothing package.
HI Jabulani, thanks for leaving a review! Appreciate your patience in working out the Wi-Fi issue, and glad to hear that it worked out.
Arrived in 3 days. Product came in an original box with everything inside. Hardwire kit was super easy to install. Dash cam has been working pretty good so far.
Hi Andy, thanks for leaving a review! Glad to hear that you're loving your BlackSys.
