Most people are under the misconception that the Panorama came from the brand PowerUCC, but it is actually not. The mother company of the Panorama line-up is actually called Roadview.  By joining together with a Korea dash-cam installer company known as Motopark, Roadview released their North American dashcam free of the PowerUCC branding.  This is known as the Panorama S2 we are reviewing today.  The vision when creating the Panorama S2 was to be the most energy efficient, best video quality, and reliable dashcam on the market today.

The Panorama S2 comes with many features you would expect to see from high-end dashcams today.  Shooting at 1080P at 30FPS, the Panorama GS also comes with a Sony EXMOR CMOS sensor, for incredible day and night recording quality.  To add to that, the dashcam comes with features we have learned to love, such as GPS tracking, and parking mode by motion detection.  What really sets this dashcam apart, is the fact that it comes with an LCD display.  With the addition of the LCD display, playback and live-monitoring of the dashcam is made very convenient.  Also, access and adjustment to settings are very convenient since they can be changed from the display itself.  As a bonus, it also includes a picture taking mode.  The Panorama S2 allows for up to 128GB SD card, boasting up to 30+ hours of video footage.  The Panorama S2 is special in that it is very energy efficient, allowing more battery life, which ultimately means more recorded footage.

Despite having a LCD display, the Panorama GS is a very slim and sleek product.  Covered with a gloss-black body, it looks nice and elegant while being able to hide subtly inside the cabin of a car.  The touch screen display on the dashcam is responsive, and provides a crisp display of the video footage.

As packed with features as it is, the Panorama GS is not without its flaws.  First of all, the LCD display results in a much bigger unit, which may not be appealing for all people.  To add to that, the LCD display can be distracting so some drivers.  The included GPS function is actually external, which is definitely not as good as an internal GPS.
