BlackVue DR3500-FHD: First Impression

BlackVue, like the dashcam giant it is, has been constantly coming out with Break-through products.  Whether that be very feature-packed, insane specs, or some type of new technology or innovation used in the dashcam, they have been at the top of their game doing so.  But how about if you do not care for all these features, and just want something great that is from a reputable brand?  That is where the BlackVue DR3500-FHD comes in...

BlackVue DR3500-FHD

Our Thoughts:

Its great to see BlackVue come out with a dashcam that is so different from what we are used to seeing from the company.  The DR3500FHD, in it's entirety, is a bare-bones dashcam.  It takes away all the features that you usually see on high-end dashcams, in favour of a much lower price point.  From what can be seen, the DR3500 has no special features such as WiFi or GPS, but gives you a full 1080P camera, and the basic needed features such as loop recording, event recording, and parking mode, for a much lower price point.  Maybe because it has much less features, the unit is much smaller, and much sleeker than other models.  In fact, I think this is one of the best looking and most discreet looking Blackvue on the market.

I feel like the BlackVue DR3500 is going to be a great product, and a very popular one at that.  Personally, I really like that some high-end and reputable companies (such as BlackVue and FineVu) are going back to the drawing board, and providing options for people that have a lower budget.  Instead of packing in a bunch of technologies and features that we don't necessarily need, BlackVue gives us a high-quality camera, with necessary features, for a entry-level price.  I think this product is truly great, and wish more companies start providing high-quality dashcams at a more budget price point.

We will have a full review coming out soon, so keep an eye out!
