Does ThinkOBD 100 require an Internet connection?

You do not need an Internet connection to perform a diagnostics scan with the ThinkOBD 100. The ThinkOBD 100 connects to your vehicle via the attached OBD Adapter Cable.

Does my car have OBD-II port?

All cars built since January 1, 1996 have OBD-II systems. Manufacturers started incorporating OBD-II in various models as early as 1994. Some early OBD-II cars were not 100% compliant. OBD-II provides a universal inspection and diagnosis method to be sure the car is performing to OEM standards.

Will this scanner display numbers from temperature sensors in the vehicle?

The ThinkOBD 100 will not display temperature readings from various systems within your car, such as the transmission. If you require such function, we strongly recommend the ThinkDiag.

Will it clear tire pressure monitoring code?

The ThinkOBD 100 will not clear tire pressuring readings. If you require such function, we strongly recommend the ThinkDiag.

Will it clear ABS/Braking System codes?

The ThinkOBD 100 will not read or clear ABS/Braking Systems codes. If you require such function, we strongly recommend the ThinkDiag.

Awesome product

Cheap Enough To Leave In The Glove Box Of Every Car You Own

The very first OBD2 Scan Tool I used was back in 2002 (Snap-On Red Brick), and it cost $5,000 USD.
It's amazing to me how basic Scanners can cost as low as $25. For that price, it might be a good idea to carry one in the glovebox of every car you own, kinda like how we use to carry a "Rand McNally" in there. lol
Even if you can't turn a wrench under your hood, the scanner info can be used to keep your mechanic honest.

I would love to give a review of the product. But, I haven't used it yet. I can only speak for the order and shipping time. I had excellent service. My scanner arrived a day earlier than expected. Placing my order was a breeze. I am happy so far. I will be using the scanner soon. I will be able to give a review of the product at that time. But, for now I am completely satisfied.
